The construction of the military town in Šiauliai, which began in the fourth quarter of 2022, has been completed and has already been handed over to the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania. The project was implemented by the companies UAB “Partnerystės projektai keturi” and UAB “Samogitia miestelis”, which belong to the UAB EIKA group. Soon, one of the youngest units of the army will be located on the territory of 7.8 hectares – the Kunigaikščios Marginis Infantry Battalion of the “Žemaitija” brigade.
The area of the battalion-sized military town in Šiauliai covers 7.8 hectares. The town, which is designed for permanent residence of about 660 soldiers, has administrative and special-purpose buildings: barracks, a canteen, headquarters, a medical station, etc. There are also spaces for sports. The town also has technical buildings: warehouses, garages, a gas station, a car wash, a shelter for technicians. There are also formation and technical areas, and parking lots, including those specially adapted for electric cars and people with disabilities..

UAB “Partnerystės projektai keturi” signed an agreement with the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania for the partial development and administration of the Šiauliai defence infrastructure in January 2021.
