The number of skyscrapers in Vilnius is increasing.

The number of skyscrapers in Vilnius is increasing.

UAB “Eikos statyba” has completed the construction of one of the tallest buildings in Lithuania. It is planned to install office premises in the 24-story, 82-meter-high building with a two-level underground parking lot.

On the right bank of the Neris River, near the municipality, a modern office building will complement a unique urban hill around which the new center of Vilnius is taking shape. The monolithic structure of the building, with an area of 18 thousand sq. meters, was built in nine months. The project value reaches 10.6 million litas.

“We appreciate the trust of the general contractor of the project – this is the first project of such a high-rise for our company,” says Rytis Ivanauskas, director of Eikos statyba. According to him, special, extremely strict construction requirements apply to high-rise buildings. It is very important to ensure high quality of work and use the most advanced construction structural and technological solutions.

“In conditions of rapid economic growth, the problem of land shortage in Vilnius is being solved in a similar way to Manhattan at the beginning of the twentieth century, when as the price of land rose, houses were built higher. Vilnius will also inevitably see an increase in the number of high-rise administrative, commercial and residential buildings,” says R. Ivanauskas.
