Three more houses are starting to be built in the project “Baltas lapas” developed by the real estate development company “Eika”, and sales of apartments in the second phase of this project are also starting..

In the first phase of the project, 75 percent of the apartments have already been sold (89 apartments out of 119), and the second phase of the project will add another 145 apartments to the apartment supply in Naujamiestis.

The first phase of the project is planned to be completed in the first quarter of 2020, and the second phase should be completed in the first quarter of 2021. The third phase of the project on Agoonų Street is planned to begin in the first quarter of 2021, and the entire project is planned to be completed by the end of 2022.

The second phase of the project continues on Mindaugo Street, where 3 new apartment buildings are being built, with a height of 4 to 7 floors, and 145 apartments are designed, with sizes ranging from 27 to 86 sq m.

According to EIKA Development Manager Martynas Žibūda, “Baltas lapas” is a project that will feature all the amenities of modern housing that are particularly appreciated by modern city dwellers – underfloor heating, high ceilings, large windows, a fenced and camera-monitored area, bicycle storage, underground parking and play areas in the inner courtyard. The project is located in a convenient location in the city, where the New Town borders the Old Town, so future settlers will be able to enjoy both the hustle and bustle of the Old Town and the cozy cafes or urban spaces of the New Town.

Residents of Baltos Lapos will be able to spend evenings not only on their balconies but also in the inner courtyard, with children’s playgrounds and recreation areas for teenagers and the elderly planned for each stage of the project. Plants and trees will grow and bloom in the courtyards so that every resident can enjoy an oasis of peace in the city center.

In addition to the fenced area, the project will also install a video surveillance system in the yard, at the entrances, at the entrance to the underground parking lot, and in the underground parking lot. The system provides the opportunity for apartment owners to monitor the camera images directly on their computer/phone screens. The underground parking lot has 231 parking spaces, which residents of all three project phases will be able to purchase and safely store their cars.

The architectural solutions of the project were developed by the architectural group UAB “Unitectus”, whose vision was to create a project that would blend into the architecture of the Old Town and the New Town, but each house with its own character, style or facade. “Baltas lapas” meets the requirements of class A+. The apartments will be warm and cozy due to underfloor heating, and the air in the house will always be fresh thanks to the recuperation system.

The project is being developed on a 1.26 ha plot, where 10 apartment buildings will be built, and investments in the entire project will amount to EUR 35.5 million.
