On February 3, 2022, an event was held in the Kaunas Free Economic Zone (FEZ) to mark the start of construction of a new logistics center for UAB Tamros, a pharmaceutical wholesale distribution company and the manager of BENU pharmacies. During the ceremony, a symbolic time capsule was cast into the building’s foundation to signify the importance of this building for our times. The construction of the innovative and sustainability-oriented logistics center build-to-suit The project is managed by the UAB Eika Real Estate Fund (EREF) fund of the investment management company UAB Eika Asset Management (EAM). The completed building will remain in the ownership of this fund, the investment amount is not disclosed. The completion of the project is planned in almost a year, in the fourth quarter of 2022. The general contractor of the building, which is also responsible for the design process, is UAB SIMPER statyba.
