EIKA, which introduced a technological innovation to the market in February of this year – virtualized apartments, is taking another step into virtual reality – at the “Super namai” exhibition from April 20-23, it will present a virtualized entire nine-story house in the currently under construction “EIKA namai Pilaitė” project in the Karaliaučius quarter..
A total of 64 apartments in the aforementioned building have been transferred to virtual reality (VR). According to EIKA Development Director Martynas Žibūda. Each apartment can be viewed without furniture to feel the spaces, and each apartment is also presented fully furnished with furniture and equipment. “The interior project presented in virtual reality is designed so that when the client chooses it, we will be able to furnish it exactly the same as he will see in virtual reality,” says M. Žibūda.
At the beginning of the virtual reality project, EIKA presented several virtualized apartments from various projects under development – “Bajorų alėjos”, “Namų pynės”, “Žalgiris 135” and “Karaliaučius kvartalas”. “With this fully virtualized house, we will offer home buyers not only to evaluate the interior options, but also to inspect the house from the outside and the layout of the house on the plot, check all the apartments on each floor, thus choosing an apartment both according to the desired layout and floor,” says an EIKA representative, describing the possibilities of virtual reality in the real estate sector.
Virtual reality is unique in that it creates an artificial image that is identical in parameters and size to the real image. Having moved into a virtual apartment, a future settler can evaluate not only the interior of the apartment, but also step onto the balcony of the apartment and examine the view from it – identical to the real one. Virtual reality will soon radically change the process of choosing a home. People will no longer need to check real estate ad portals or drive around different parts of the city in search of a suitable apartment. It will be enough to put on glasses and go on an inspection of apartments that have not yet begun construction.
According to Vilius Juknevičius, VR developer and owner of the company Id3d, with whom EIKA collaborates to develop VR capabilities in the real estate market, the virtualization of real estate objects reveals ever greater possibilities, with each new project leading to newer discoveries, functions and uses of VR. “After this fully virtualized house by EIKA, we can go further by virtualizing the entire block, where a person will be able to feel and walk through the future environment and landscape,” says V. Juknevičius.
After the exhibition “Super Homes”, from April 24, the virtualized house of the Karaliaučius project and virtualized apartments from other projects will be available for viewing at the EIKA office at Goštauto 40 a. From the beginning of April, EIKA virtualized apartments can also be viewed at the GO9 shopping center located in the “VR Cafe”.
