Installation of infrastructure for Phase I of the Rūdnininkai military training ground

The first phase of the Rudninkai military training ground infrastructure is being implemented in the Šalčininkai district, on an area of almost 200 hectares. The project is creating a military town infrastructure intended to house soldiers of a German brigade, for administrative and technical functions and for military training activities. The site is planned to include more than 120 buildings, helicopter landing pads, training and drill fields, and more than 10 kilometers of internal roads.

Within the scope of the first phase, 19 buildings are planned, with a total area of 57,650 sq. m: three dormitory buildings designed to accommodate 600 soldiers, a storage center, hangars, garages and other logistics structures. Also 114,545 sq. m of hard surfaces. Construction works are planned to be completed at the end of 2026, 10 months earlier than stipulated in the contract.
