“Eika” begins construction of the third phase of the “Santariškės namų” settlement

“Eika” starts construction work and apartment reservations in new low-rise apartment building “Gilės” in Santariškės, Vilnius, in June.  This year, at least 18.5 million litas are planned to be invested in the development of the “Santariškių namai” project, and over 90 apartments and cottages are planned to be built.

 

The apartment building “Gilės” has 190 apartments designed, the area of ​​which varies from 31 to 82 square meters. The residents of the first floor of the “Gilės” house will have terraces of up to 46 sq. m., and apartments with roof terraces have been designed on the upper floors. It is planned that the settlers will settle in the first stage of “Gilės” already in the spring of next year.

“Eika” is also continuing the construction of the apartment and cottage quarter “Mėta” in Santariškės. “Mėta” attracted interest last year, because these houses have many smart, energy-saving solutions installed: solar collectors, a gas boiler room, underfloor heating, top-class windows,” – says Valdas Kaulinis, director of UAB “Santariškių namai”, as the reason for the successful sale. “For example, residents of the first phase “Mėta 1″ paid an average of only 2-2.5 Lt/sq m for heating last winter,” – says V. Kaulinis. The price of heat in the new “Mėta” should be even lower – they will be equipped with extremely economical  geothermal heating.

 

The first “Mėta” cottages have already been completed and sold, and new residents are already living in them. The construction of the 3-storey apartment building “Mėta 3” is also being completed. The cottages “Mėta 5” and “Mėta 6” currently under construction will be built in the fall of this year, but more than half of the apartments and cottages have already been sold. The construction of the new “Mėta 7, 8 and 9” stages began in April, and 18 apartments have been designed in them, the area of ​​which varies from 67 to 100 square meters. All apartments will have courtyards or terraces, and, as in the previous stages, smart energy-saving solutions will be installed in them.

 

The Eika Group of Companies has already built over 900 apartments and the Ikiukas shopping center in Santariškės. It is planned that by the end of 2015, a total of about 1,150 apartments will be built in this quarter.
