Real estate project management company EIKA Development announces the start of renovation and expansion works of one of the first business centers in Vilnius, located at Goštauto St. 40A, during which it will construct a building that will connect the two existing high-rise buildings of the business center, and an outdoor terrace will be installed on the roof of the new structure.
The EIKA group of companies, which has its headquarters in one of the Twins, remains committed to its commitment to sustainability and announces that it will begin a business center development project in November. A 1,400 sq m connection will be built between the 4th and 5th floors of the buildings, a terrace of up to 500 sq m will be installed with a view of the Neris River, and the general infrastructure of the existing buildings will be renovated.
“We are constantly investing in sustainable solutions – in 2019, the business center, which has an area of over 16 thousand sq. meters, was assessed with the international BREEAM sustainability certificate in the “Very good” category, and in 2022, after investing in building improvements, it received the “Excellence” rating. This shows that we are trying to improve quality and ensure that we meet the highest standards. This is how the idea of combining buildings that remain market leaders in their category even after 20 years was born,” says Giedrius Brūzgė, Director of the Property Management Department at EIKA Development.
“Having celebrated its twentieth anniversary, EIKA Business Center continues to be in demand and appreciated among tenants – we have had 100 percent occupancy for several years in a row. In addition to Shift4, the list of the largest tenants of the business center also includes such international brands as ACME Group, AON and many others,” reveals a company representative.
The development of the “EIKA Business Center”, which began in 2003, was one of the first modern office rental buildings in Vilnius. The 12-story building that sprang up next to the Neris River became a symbol of the quality standard of business centers in the capital, and it was home to companies of widely known international brands. Three years later, an identical second building, the “twin”, opened its doors, and between them – a 2-story “little brother” connecting the buildings.
“Construction work on the connection should start in November, and the work is expected to be completed in February 2026. We apologize in advance to all tenants of the EIKA Business Center and our neighbors for the temporary inconvenience,” adds G. Brūzgė.
