Child Safe Environment Standards have been developed to help create a safe environment for children and to offer necessary measures for institutions/organizations to ensure the safety of children.
In October 2022, at the initiative of businesses – UAB “EIKA Group”, UAB “ACME” and UAB “CIVINITY”, with the help of the Kazickas Family Foundation and non-governmental organizations operating in the field of child education, a hackathon “Smartuoliai” dedicated to the emotional health of youth took place. This two-day event attracted more than 100 participants from all over Lithuania, mostly schoolchildren, and united business, state institutions and non-governmental organizations. The hackathon became a platform for searching for solutions to improve the psychological well-being of children in Lithuania.
Representatives of business, the Ministry of Social Security and Labor, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports, the Ministry of Health, Vilnius City Municipality, and various non-governmental organizations participated in several hackathon sessions held in 2024.
