Changes in the management team of Eika Group: expanding and strengthening competencies while planning growth and development

Giedrius Audickas has joined the Eika Group and will take on the position of Group Chief Financial Officer. Head of Marketing and Communications Jorūnė Juodžbalytė becomes the Group Head of Sustainability and Innovation, and is replaced in the position of Head of Marketing and Communications by the newly joined Irmantas Matilionis..

According to Domas Dargis, CEO of Eika, refining the group’s activities and strengthening its competencies is a clear strategic direction that creates a basis for the group’s expansion in terms of both geography and volume of activities. “For the rapid growth of the group, we must use consolidated and structured financial management, which would ensure the stability and growth of the activities. The size of the group, the wide range of activities and the increasingly stringent sustainability requirements for our activities encourage the organization to allocate a separate competence to this area, and to include sustainability activities even in strategic goals. Finally, the planned growth requires strengthening the brand, communication and marketing strategies of the group and its companies. We managed to attract one of the strongest finance and marketing competencies on the market, Giedrius and Irmantas, and Jorūnė, who has been developing sustainability and innovation competencies in addition to marketing and communication for several years, is taking on the challenge of leading the group on the path to sustainability,” says D. Dargis.

G. Audickas has spent most of his career in various financial roles, from financial analyst, group finance manager, board member at Modus Group, and for the past few years has worked at the global technology company Eskimi. During these years, Giedrius has grown teams of finance professionals, carried out expansion in Europe and beyond, managed to secure financing for large projects, implemented analytics and business management systems, and achieved significant business efficiency goals. “For me, Eika has always stood out as a group with unique potential, maintaining strong leadership positions in the real estate sector. I am joining to help strengthen growth at an important stage of the group’s development – together with the team, we will expand the growth trajectory in new and existing markets and create sustainable long-term value for shareholders,” says G. Audickas, citing his reasons for joining the Eika Group.

Eika approved a sustainability strategy back in 2021, which seemed very progressive in the market at the time. “We have made an excellent “warm-up” for a new start, which is necessary due to the tightening sustainability requirements and the group becoming a “holding” entity, which will have to submit a consolidated report for 4-5 activities in 2026, and Eika Asset Management will submit the first one in the year after 2024. We are currently on the path of updating the strategy. We are forming an internal sustainability committee from various divisions and all group companies, creating a sustainability management structure, outlining serious commitments to reduce the impact of all activities, and creating tools that will help calculate, analyze and prepare reports,” J. Juodžbalytė says of the challenges ahead, which become the value foundation of the group.

I. Matilionis is a marketing and communication expert with many years of work experience in both Lithuanian and international companies. For the past five years, I. Matilionis has been heading the marketing and business development department of Delfi, and before that he was responsible for marketing at the specialized Estonian capital loan bank Bigbank. “I am joining the leading Eika group of companies. I have no doubt that working here will be interesting, because Eika is constantly growing. I come with a lot of thoughts and ideas about what can be done, and I believe that, using the knowledge I have accumulated, together with the team we will implement them in order to achieve common goals,” says I. Matilionis.[vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”48494,48496,48498″ img_size=”medium” el_class=”zoom-in-gallery”][/vc_column]
