The business center “135” on Žalgirio Street in Vilnius, managed by the investment management company “Capitalica Asset Management”, has been awarded the BREEAM certificate. BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is an international prestigious standard for sustainable buildings, indicating the quality and environmental impact of buildings and their management.
“This is the first BREEAM certificate awarded to a business center we manage. We focus only on high-quality buildings, therefore we plan to obtain certificates reflecting this for other managed facilities as well,” comments Andrius Barštys, CEO of Capitalica Asset Management, on the assessment.
Business Center “135” has been awarded the “BREEAM In-Use” certificate with a rating of “Very good”. The categories of waste management, materials and transport were rated the best.
All premises in the business center “135” are currently leased. Companies such as “Devbridge Group”, “Hertz”, “Ferratum Finance”, ČIOP ČIOP, “Bo Concept”, “ACME Grupė”, “Studio Moderna” and others operate here. The total area of the building is 8.4 thousand square meters.
In addition to the business center “135”, Capitalica Asset Management manages the business center “Kauno dokas” in Kaunas and the shopping center “Luizė” in Klaipėda. Capitalica Asset Management’s immediate plans include a project in Riga.
Investment management company Capitalica Asset Management was established in May 2016. The company specializes in the management of commercial real estate in the Baltic States. 80 percent of the shares of UAB Capitalica Asset Management are owned by the SBA concern, 20 percent belong to A. Barščys’ company UAB Fox Holdings.
