Three ideas have been submitted in the architectural competition for the development of a hotel and SPA center announced by “SPA Vilnius Anykščiai”. It is expected that the most suitable option will be selected from them for the development of the hotel and SPA center located in Anykščiai, Vilniaus g. 80. The organizer of the competition, the real estate and development construction company “EIKA”, invites residents of Anykščiai to inspect and evaluate the competition works.
City residents will have a week to evaluate the competition proposals by sending their comments – until April 11. The organizers very much hope that city residents will get involved and will be able to receive their observations, because only the residents of Anykstė can evaluate what would best fit and suit the city’s landscape.
The aim of the competition: to find the best architectural solution and the most suitable location on the site for the expanded hotel and SPA. The building will have to comply with the regulations in force for the site and blend in with the existing environment and the landscape of the Anykščiai grove. The owners of the SPA center expect high-quality architecture, innovative ideas, and compliance with the principles of sustainable development from the competition participants.
On April 12, a meeting of the competition evaluation committee will take place, where the best work will be selected according to the established criteria, with the author of which the competition sponsor will negotiate a project development contract.
This is not the first time that the EIKA group of companies has been cooperating with the SPA Vilnius group. In 2021, EIKA took care of the design and construction management of the major renovation of SPA Vilnius Druskininkai. In a very short time, the major renovation of the hotel part, reception, SPA bar, swimming pool and sauna area was completed.
