This week UAB “Verslo investicijos” and the Lithuanian Union of Architects announce adadministrative building at Lvovo st. 21a, Vilnius, an open international design competition. The competition is announced in accordance with the decision of the Vilnius City Council and with the aim of exploiting the potential of the plot, which is located in the zone of high-rise buildings. The project manager is UAB EIKA.
The aim of the competition is to examine the development possibilities of the plot, to create the best architectural and urban solution suitable for the designed plot and territory in accordance with the regulations applicable to this location. The aim is also to design a building that is appropriate to the scale of the existing urban environment, creating connections with the existing system of public spaces and ensuring their visual connection with existing real estate objects, while preserving visual and spatial perspectives important to the city.
The competition is announced and organized by the Lithuanian Association of Architects (LAS) on behalf of UAB “Verslo investicijos”. The chairman of the evaluation committee is the city’s chief architect Mindaugas Pakalnis. The full composition of the committee and the competition conditions can be found at here.
Prizes will be awarded to the three best projects submitted to the Competition: first place winner – 12,000 euros, second place – 8,000 euros, third place – 5,000 euros. Competition entries are accepted until July 22 of this year, and the winner will be announced at the end of July.
The project at Lvovo St. 21 a is being developed by UAB “Verslo investicijos”, which was acquired in October 2018 by UAB “Vilnius property management”, a company related to EIKA shareholders.
