EIKA Construction (formerly Eikos statyba) and Vilnius City Municipality have signed a contract for the development of the Tauros Kalnas Park territory. The company won the IV part of the procurement object, which includes general development works with engineering networks, arboricultural and landscaping solutions, and the renewal of communication infrastructure.
The works will be carried out next to the future “House of the Nation” – the National Concert Hall. The improved territory of Taurus Hill will become an attractive space for residents and visitors all year round.
The project includes the renovation of pedestrian paths, the installation of recreation and observation areas, an amphitheater, children’s play and sports areas, and a toboggan hill. Small architecture will be built – benches, lights, trash cans, bicycle racks, drinking water fountains. Existing greenery will also be arranged, new tree arrays will be formed, lighting and sewage networks will be reconstructed, and surveillance cameras will be installed.
