The official opening of the FLOW amphitheater, a business center managed by EIKA Development, took place in Vilnius on Thursday. On this occasion, two screenings of Kino Pavasaris were held in the new space, open to all Vilnius residents, where the business center community and residents of the capital had the opportunity to see the Oscar-winning film for free.
New space and entertainment for everyone
The main focus of the opening of the space, located next to a modern business center, was community spirit, and the festive evening culminated in two free screenings of the film “Flow” by Latvian director Gintas Zilbaluodis (Lit. Flood) screenings. The film, which captivated audiences around the world, won an Oscar this year in the animated film category.
The new FLOW amphitheater covers an area of 500 sq. meters and comfortably accommodates about a hundred people. In order to create a space where people can take a breather on a hot summer day, as much as 300 sq. meters of space has been allocated for greenery: trees and as many as 1,600 plants have been planted on the stair terraces.
The first screening of the film on Thursday was dedicated to the large community of the business center, while the second evening open-air screening was open to all Vilnius residents. The audience gathered to see the film “Flow” in the new amphitheater space took advantage of the opportunity to see the internationally acclaimed animated film for free.

Free movie screenings all summer long
The event held on June 19 is just the first step. D. Dargis reveals that the FLOW business center will host two more public and free movie nights this summer, where film lovers will have the opportunity to see as many as four impressive films.
Viewers are now invited to the second film evening on July 17, during which at 5:00 p.m. the tragicomedy “Peacock” by director Bernhard Wenger, which has won 5 international film awards, will be screened (English: Peacock), and at 7:00 p.m. – director Peter Kerekes’ work “The Stars Prophesy” (English: Wishing on a Star).
On August 21st, the FLOW Amphitheater will invite you to meet again and enjoy two more films together. At 5:00 p.m., the Frenchman Emmanuel Courcol’s work “Fanfares” (English: The Marching Band), and at 7:00 p.m. the evening will culminate with the sensitive work “Bird” by the British artist Andrea Arnold (English: Bird), which tells a story about family and identity.
