In June 2019, the general contractor UAB EIKA Construction (formerly UAB Eikos statyba) began construction work on the Vilnius Airport VIP passenger terminal with a conference center, having signed a contract with the State Enterprise Lithuanian Airports. The company submitted the best offer in the public procurement tender and implemented this project of exceptional importance in an extremely short time – just nine months.
The new two-story building with an underground section meets the A++ energy efficiency class. The terminal is equipped with comfortable waiting rooms, a modern conference center with an advanced sound and lighting system, parking lots, access roads, and all necessary engineering infrastructure.
