EIKA Development, a real estate project management company belonging to the EIKA group, announces that it has extended its long-term cooperation agreement with Shift4 Payments, the largest client of the business center located at 40A Goštauto St. in Vilnius, which will further increase the area of the rented office – an agreement has been signed for an additional 1,400 sq. meters in the newly constructed connecting building.
The US payment processing company, which opened its Vilnius office in 2017, has grown to a unit with more than 800 employees in seven years. The company has been increasing the amount of space it leases at the EIKA Business Center on Goštauto Street every year, and this month signed a new long-term agreement that will allow it to continue expanding its office at this location.
The company Shift4 Payments remains the largest client of the EIKA Business Center, managed by the company EIKA Development, and after the newly signed contract, it will lease over 5 thousand sq. meters of space in the building complex, the total usable area of which exceeds 16 thousand sq. meters.
“Our business is consistently growing worldwide, so I am pleased that we will start next year in Vilnius with a team of more than 850 specialists. The Shift4 branch in Vilnius is one of our company’s largest offices in the world. One of our top priorities is the well-being of our employees, so we want people to feel comfortable in the office and want to work here. We particularly appreciate the convenient location of A. Goštauto Street in the central part of the city and the opportunity to provide each employee with a parking space. After the office reconstruction, employees will not only have comfortable workplaces, new meeting and relaxation areas, but will also be able to spend time on a spacious terrace with a beautiful view of the Neris River,” notes Tadas Vizgirda, Head of Shift4 Payments Lithuania.
“We are pleased to continue our long-standing cooperation with Shift4 Payments and to be their business growth partners,” says Giedrius Brūzgė, Director of the Asset Management Department at EIKA Development.
During the construction of the “Twins” connection, which started in November of this year, a 1,400 sq. m. connection will be built between the 4th and 5th floors of the buildings, a terrace of up to 500 sq. m. with a view of the Neris River will be installed, and the existing general infrastructure of the buildings will also be renovated. The completion of the works is expected in the first quarter of 2026.
In addition to Shift4 Payments, this business center is also home to international brands such as Acme Group, AON, Brink’s Lithuania, Pfizer and many others. The EIKA group of companies itself also has its headquarters in one of the Twins.
The development of the EIKA Business Center, which began in 2003 and became one of the first modern office rental buildings in Vilnius, consists of two twelve-story buildings and a connecting 2-story building. The business center, which emphasizes sustainability, received international recognition five years ago – in 2019, the business center, which has an area of over 16 thousand sq. meters, was awarded the international BREEAM sustainability certificate in the “Very good” category, and in 2022, after investing in building improvements, it received an “Excellent” rating.
