EIKA Asset Management: how we invest in times of uncertainty

As geopolitical tensions increase and markets operate in conditions of “controlled chaos”, EIKA Asset Management (EAM) is consistently adapting its investment strategy, focusing on resilience, returns and long-term value.

“Today’s investor behavior shows a clear direction – caution, selectivity and greater attention to fundamental factors. We see that instead of investing capital in high-risk and high-profit markets, investors are now focusing on countries with a stable economy and political system, as well as clear legal conditions. In response to these trends, we pay close attention to diversification, active asset management and projects that generate stable cash flow,” says Andrius Uždavinys, Head of EAM.

According to A. Uždavinis, geopolitical risk is becoming not a temporary phenomenon, but a permanent part of the investment environment. Therefore, the priority is solutions that ensure portfolio resilience and sustainable returns in the long term.

EAM’s response to current market conditions

Given the declining investment flow and growing uncertainty, EAM:

  • increasing attention to real estate and infrastructure projects as sources of stable returns;
  • prioritizes projects with clear economic and social value;
  • enhances the speed and quality of decision-making through active management and market analysis;
  • evaluates investments through the prism of long-term resilience and sustainability.
  • chooses reliable and strong partners, paying greater attention to guarantees of fulfillment of contracts.

Expansion in Poland and international markets

EIKA Asset Management is actively developing projects in Poland, where several investment projects worth tens of millions of euros are already being implemented. These include logistics centers in the Warsaw region, including a large-scale logistics park in northern Warsaw, and projects in Sochaczew, which are being developed in strategically attractive transport locations and focused on long-term rental flow.

The company is consistently strengthening its positions in this segment by investing in modern logistics and commercial real estate properties, cooperating with international partners and financial institutions.

At the same time, EAM is expanding investments across Central Europe and Germany, aiming to create a diversified portfolio and take advantage of regional economic changes and supply chain transformation.

Intensive development in Lithuania

EAM is also conducting intensive development in the residential real estate segment, strengthening funds focused on the development of housing projects in Vilnius. The rapidly growing capital market and the increasing number of transactions confirm the attractiveness of this segment for long-term investments.

Market trends and investment strategy

The growing interest of investors in “safe havens” and real assets confirms the direction in which the market is moving – from speculative solutions to value creation.

In today’s era, not only the asset classes chosen are of paramount importance, but also the quality of decisions. Long-term investment returns begin with a disciplined approach, based on data and deep analysis, and the ability to operate under uncertainty.

Infrastructure investment is currently going through a historical cycle, driven by the need to renew aging assets and adapt to global changes. Investors view infrastructure as a safe haven due to its ability to generate stable, often inflation-linked income.
