EIKA Development received the construction completion certificate for the business center “Jasinskio2”

In September, EIKA Development received a construction completion certificate for the business center “Jasinskio2”, located in Vilnius, on Jokūbo Jasinskio Street, near Taurus Mountain. The first tenants started moving into the building in the first half of September, and to date more than 80 percent of the space has been leased.. rooms.

The new business center, located near Taurus Mountains, has 7,300 sq. m of administrative premises, a six-story building with a 2-story underground parking lot. Investments in this business space by Aurochs Investments, a company affiliated with EIKA Group, amount to more than 34 million euros, and preparatory work on the project began in 2023. The development of the newly built business center is managed by the real estate project management company EIKA Development.

Martynas Žibūda, the head of EIKA Development, says that initially a hotel project was purchased, and in the process, not only the purpose was changed, but also solutions were sought to make the building as attractive as possible and blend into the overall city view. The goal was set to bring a legendary place to new life – in the expressive building, much attention was paid to sustainability: the reuse and preservation of old details, thus paying tribute to the legendary “Tauros Ragas” that operated here.

“Basically, we can already assess the result and the appearance of the business center – it will not change. However, our work is not over, as we still have to attract all tenants. I am glad that most of the premises have already been leased – given the difficult situation in the commercial property market, this is a very good result for our property management team,” he says.

The building at the foot of Taurus Mountain uniquely blends into the cityscape and symbolizes the return of an important section of the capital to business. The new business center was designed by SP Architektų grupė with accompanying architect Saulius Pamerneckis.

“When designing the building, we incorporated the original dolomite slabs of the former building into the facade of the business center, and in the passage accessible to everyone, we restored the outline of the old wall, which retains the shape of the wall and functions as a place to sit. We also used the concrete cornices of the “Tauro Ragas” bar that operated here several decades ago, which were turned into artistic outdoor lamps,” says S. Pamerneckis.

The new Jasinskio2 spaces were built in accordance with the international sustainable building standard BREEAM, therefore the business center has been equipped with advanced irrigation, ventilation, heating and lighting systems that will ensure the highest quality for office employees and visitors. The modern business center and offices will meet the A++ energy class.
