The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide a loan of EUR 18 million to the Jasinskio 2 business center being developed by the EIKA group.
As stipulated in the signed agreement, the EBRD will finance 60 percent of the project costs. This will be the first cooperation project between the EIKA Group and the EBRD.
“This is an extraordinary event for the EIKA Group, which has attracted a European institutional financier for the first time. We started negotiations on this project at the end of 2023, and this month we will complete all coordination and preparation work. We hope that after a smooth start, we will continue to successfully develop a long-term partnership,” says Domas Dargis, CEO of the EIKA Group.
Tomas Kairys, EBRD Country Manager for the Baltics, says that the cooperation with Jasinskio 2 confirms their commitment to strengthening Vilnius’ position as a leader in developing innovative and sustainable cities: “We are pleased to be able to cooperate with the reliably managed and insightful EIKA group of companies, whose experience and thoughtful approach to investments allow us to have full confidence in the success of this project.”
Vlaho Kojakovič, Head of the EBRD Real Estate Department, says that the Jasinskio 2 business center is an example of their strategic commitment to developing sustainable growth in the real estate sector: “This project fits perfectly with our 2025-2029 real estate strategy, which prioritizes sustainable construction, innovation and urban regeneration – this is how we aim to create resilient and energy-efficient infrastructure in all the regions where we operate.”
The development of the newly built business center “Jasinskio 2” is being managed by the company “EIKA Development”, which belongs to the “EIKA” group. As previously announced, more than half of its area has already been leased.
The Jasinskio 2 business center will not only be built in a convenient and well-known location in Vilnius, but will also meet all the highest quality and sustainability standards. The project will implement advanced irrigation, ventilation, heating and lighting systems and will comply with the international sustainable building standard BREEAM and aim to obtain a BREEAM Excellent rating. Thus, tenants and guests will be able to enjoy modern, new A++ energy class spaces in the heart of the city.
The project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025. The company’s investments in this business space will exceed 30 million euros.
