Investment company Eika Asset Management has established a new closed-end fund Eika Private Equity Secondaries Fund I, which will allow investors looking for new opportunities to invest in the Luxembourg-registered alternative collective investment undertaking StepStone Secondary Opportunities Fund V Europe Holdings. The Bank of Lithuania has granted permission to establish this Fund.
“I am pleased to announce that the result of smooth cooperation with the Bank of Lithuania and the diligent work of the EAM team is a new fund designed for informed investors. This Fund will provide investors with the opportunity to invest in one of the most well-known international players, whose historical data shows excellent results. And for our team, this is another step up, realizing investors’ expectations and creating a wider choice of funds,” says Viktorija Orkinė, CEO of Eika Asset Management.
Eika Private Equity Secondaries Fund I is the fifth investment fund established by Eika Asset Management, which will invest in the Luxembourg-based alternative collective investment undertaking StepStone Secondary Opportunities Fund V Europe.
“StepStone’s experience and specialization, clear strategy, and data on the private equity market collected over a long investment history provide this holding company, established exclusively in Luxembourg, with significant advantages, particularly in the secondary market,” Viktorija Orkinė comments on the decision in more detail.
In addition to projects abroad, Eika Asset Management continues to be active in Lithuania. A few weeks ago, Eika Asset Management announced the start of construction of the Senamiesčio Sodai project in Vilnius. The announcement states that investments in the development of this project will amount to 41.3 million euros.
