Eika has joined Infobalt and the PropTech LT group it founded

The PropTech LT group, founded by the Infobalt association together with Civinity for the development of digital technologies in the real estate sector, is expanding – one of the largest real estate development and management companies, Eika, has joined the group..

The PropTech LT group, established within the Infobalt association, brings together real estate (RE) development and management, IT companies, startups, and academic institutions. It is a center of digital innovation, competences, and a collaboration platform in RE.

“The need for digital technologies is growing in all areas. Real estate management is one of the most receptive sectors, where these technologies help to more effectively use available real estate and energy resources, reduce environmental impact, and create new business models. Our step at Infobalt to establish the PropTech LT group, which would become a bridge between digital technologies and real estate management experts, was timely. We are pleased with the expansion, with Eika joining, which will significantly strengthen our group,” says Mindaugas Ubartas, director of Infobalt.

“We can confidently say that EIKA is one of the proptech pioneers in Lithuania and the Baltic States, and innovation is in our DNA. Since 2017, we have structured the implementation of innovations using the Innovation Program. During this period, we have created more than one real estate technological or new business model solution, which we use ourselves and are ready to offer to the market, we organize idea tournaments within the company, and we organize hackathons with partners, where we develop and implement the ideas we have created. Therefore, joining the Infobalt and PropTech LT working groups is a logical step that creates value for both us and the association,” says Domas Dargis, CEO of the real estate development and management company Eika.

The main areas of activity of the PropTech LT group, established last August, are the digitalization of building management and monitoring processes, the development of a unified information system, the development of good building management practices in municipalities, sustainability standards, and smart cities.

16 companies and organizations are currently participating in the activities of the Infobalt PropTechLT group: Eika, Civinity, Infoera, In Re, Hnit Baltic, Citify, Pingin, Cobalt, CGI, Terra Modus, Horion Digital, Untu, EMbank, Microsoft, Kaunas University of Technology Faculty of Construction and Architecture, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.
