EIKA Group of Companies Establishes a Company to Manage the “Masters Business Center”

UAB “Meistrų verslo centras” is established by separating the activities of the logistics center from UAB “Bendras verslas”. The separation procedure is planned to be completed on October 31 of this year. The company “Bendras verslas” will continue to carry out various investment project activities, this company owns 50 percent of the shares of Šiauliai FEZ.

According to EIKA CEO Domas Dargis, this separation of companies is a continuation of the purification of the group’s activities that began in mid-2017. “With these steps, we continue to seek to more effectively manage the financial resources and risks of the group of companies, as well as human resources and competencies,” says D. Dargis.

The company “Meistrų verslo centras” is transferring storage and office premises located at Meistrų g. 8, Vilnius. The total area of the premises is 7290 sq. m., of which 6420 sq. m. is intended for storage, and 870 sq. m. for offices. The logistics center was established in 2005. As a logistics center, the facility is attractive due to its good strategic location: close to the airport, railway branch, Vilnius – Klaipėda highway, highway to Minsk. Major tenants are “Varžtų pasaulis”, “Norameda” and several smaller logistics and manufacturing companies.

This separation will not affect the employees of the EIKA group in any way. Both the separated company and the newly established company will retain their rights and obligations according to the specifics of their activities. The shares of both companies belong to Roberts and Violeta Dargias in equal proportions.
