Historic breakthrough: Vilnius’ worst hospital will soon be moved from prestigious district


UAB “EIKA Construction” (formerly – UAB “Eikos statyba”) has begun construction of a new Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases Hospital building in Santariškės, which will allow the old facility to be moved from the central part of Vilnius to a modern location that meets hygiene and safety requirements.

The new building is planned as a modern healthcare facility with isolated areas, separate patient flows, and infrastructure adapted for infection control.

EIKA Construction performs general contracting work and is responsible for the management of construction projects and the implementation of technical solutions. The company contributes to the development of public building construction in the capital, applying the principles of sustainable construction and ensuring high-quality performance of contracting work.

The project is a significant step in modernizing Vilnius’ healthcare infrastructure and reducing the number of old, substandard buildings in the city center.
