Procedure for signing notarial contracts during quarantine

During the quarantine, EIKA strictly works only remotely, all work has moved to a virtual space. However, even in extreme conditions, we must fulfill our obligations to our clients, because they, in turn, also have plans and obligations, including with banks. At the end of last week, the work of Notaries was resumed, which means that this week we will start signing pre-planned contracts, but we will ensure maximum protection for clients, Notaries and our team.

We will postpone the signing of the contract for clients who refuse to leave their homes during this period. We will also not accept those who have recently been abroad or are experiencing any symptoms of an illness similar to the flu, cold, or coronavirus.

Social contact at the Notary’s office will be minimal – only the formality of signing. All details of the contract will be agreed and approved remotely. The meeting will last a maximum of 15 minutes. During the meeting, a minimum distance of 2 meters will be maintained between persons. All persons will be provided with masks, gloves, disinfectant liquid, and unused pens.

There will be a minimum of 45 minutes between appointments to allow for ventilation and disinfection of surfaces. Clients will not meet other clients. If either party has the slightest suspicion that the other party is sick or is not following the agreed-upon safety standards, the appointment will be terminated immediately.

Regardless, we encourage you to avoid any unnecessary social contact and, if necessary, take all necessary precautions. We remind you that almost everything can be done remotely.
