The last available premises in the “Live Square” shopping gallery located at Gedimino Ave. 44A have been leased. The complex will house the winery “Raudonas ir baltas”, the bakery “Biržų duona” and the Japanese food restaurant “SHAKESnackPLIUS”..
“We constantly analyze the market and delve into the needs of our business center employees and their guests. Seeing that food culture plays an increasingly important role in people’s everyday lives, we decided to focus most of the Live Square shopping gallery on gastronomy. Each shop, cafe or restaurant located in our complex offers customers a unique atmosphere, interior and variety of dishes, so we are pleased to be able to offer as many as three new, food-oriented spaces to our business center employees and guests,” says Giedrius Brūzgė, Director of the Eika Property Department.
Fresh and delicious pastries every morning
One of the oldest and largest bakeries in Lithuanian capital, Biržai duona, will open its bakery shop in February in the shopping gallery located in the complex. As R. Filatovienė, a representative of Biržai duona, notes, the experience gained over many years of work and the desire to share the discoveries born in the creative process led to the decision to open a shop in a central location in the city, where people in a hurry could enjoy a rich palette of fresh warm pastries, real traditional Lithuanian bread and handmade desserts, which arrive directly from the bakery in Biržai every morning.
A place where every Japanese food lover will find something to eat
“SHAKESnackPLIUS”, which is scheduled to open in March, is the third restaurant of the MB “Parlis” chain in Vilnius, which promises to surprise its customers with the exceptional taste of Japanese food. “We believe that customers who have tasted the food prepared by our kitchen masters will be surprised by its freshness and rich taste, because we choose not to save on quality and prepare food only from the highest quality ingredients. In our restaurant’s windows, customers will find quite unusual sushi variations, improved according to the characteristics of the western region – sushi with grilled ingredients, grilled cheese and various sauce mixtures. For those who are less fond of fish, we will offer chicken, pork, beef and vegetable skewers. For an exceptional lunch or dinner, the restaurant will provide the pleasure of the Japanese ritual “Shabu Shabu”, during which traditional Japanese hot meat or fish dishes will be prepared. “We will prepare the products, the guests will cook themselves,” says Arnas Marčiulaitis, director of the Japanese restaurant.
A space that makes you feel like you’re in an Italian or Spanish province
People who miss the Italian or Spanish provinces are invited to come inside the winery “Red and White”, located in a shopping gallery, which offers not only wines from many countries of the world and various products from Southern Europe, but also delights customers with exclusive wine tasting evenings with a sommelier and presentations of seasonal wines. Those who want to spend time with friends or relatives during the day are invited to enjoy a cup of coffee, snacks or fresh salad. And if you are in a hurry or have not found a place to sit down – you can always buy food and drinks to take away.
According to the representative of “Red and White”, although the winery is small, it is a very cozy place to spend time. “A small space is an advantage for those who want to hide from the hustle and bustle of the city, change their working environment, forget about themselves, take a break from the crowds and shopping centers. For the summer season, we will set up a few tables in the shade, among flowers, as if in a Provencal town,” says Ž. Kačkauskaitė.
Live Square is a space in the center of Vilnius that organically connects offices, shops, residential buildings and tourist attractions. It is a place where life and innovation pulsate, where the life and culture of modern citizens are boiling. This space revives the sleepy part of Gediminas Avenue and opens it up for active life, work and presence – here and now. Live Square creates a dynamic and cultural community, inspiring investment in knowledge, ideas and people.
The Live Square shopping mall and business center covers 6,400 sq m. m. Last year, the following opened: a coffee bar, Vero Cafe, a pharmacy, Florisima flower salon, a Swiss watch store, Geneva, a teahouse, Formosa, a Narvesen store, and the first new concept store, Rimi Express. The ranks of Live Square tenants have been expanded and a new concept restaurant with a dessert bar, Pink & Yellow, is renting the premises.
