The terrace of “EIKA. Spaces by the River” invites you to take a breather by the Neris River

EIKA Business Center invites employees of J. Jasinskis and A. Goštauto St. business centers and other Vilnius residents to the terrace by the Neris River. The terrace is located near the EIKA Business Center, descending to the river. The project was implemented together with partners “Kitas krantas”, who are already operating on the terrace beloved by Vilnius residents by the King Mindaugas Bridge.

On the terrace of “EIKA. Spaces by the River”, Vilnius residents are invited to spend time by the river, enjoy snacks and drinks, taste different food every week at “Foodtruck Thursdays” events, and take a boat ride on the Neris River – a small river boat pier has been installed near the terrace.

According to Giedrius Brūzgė, Director of the EIKA Property Management Department, these days it is no longer enough to take care of only the interior or common spaces in an office. “Since the Neris River flows next to our business centers, the idea arose to revive the coast, which is currently underutilized. The idea was also supported by the Vilnius City Municipality. The terrace “EIKA. Spaces by the River” was created as a common green space for people working nearby and Vilnius residents spending the summer in the city to relax, communicate and share ideas,” says G. Brūzgė.

It is expected that a common space near nature will have a positive effect on the mood of employees of business centers. Psychologists say that green spaces create a positive environment for people’s psychological health, help maintain balance for those experiencing stress. According to psychologist Olegs Lapinas, we live disconnected from the earth, fresh vegetables, silence, but we are part of nature and often strive to return to where everything is natural, quiet, and earthy. Including an element of nature in the office environment can be a challenge, often in office buildings located in the city center. Roof terraces and green walls are created for this. In the case of “EIKA. Space by the River”, a public space on the banks of the Neris River was used and developed, which will create value not only for the employees of the Business Triangle, but also for the city.
