Try your hand at it. In the National Economics Exam. This is a unique initiative for anyone who wants to get into the rhythm of economics, test their knowledge of economics, and better understand it. The National Economics Exam, organized for the second time, is thought-provoking and invites you to notice how much economics is in our everyday lives.
The national economics exam will be held March 27th, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The collection will take place online – www.ekonomikosegzaminas.lt, registration has already started – www.ekonomikosegzaminas.lt/registracija.
Participants will compete in three categories: the most economically literate citizen, student and schoolchild. The winner of each category will be awarded a cash prize of 500 euros. The project partners will also award second and third place winners.
The exam is organized by the Lithuanian Free Market Institute. The tasks are prepared by the economics faculties of all higher education institutions in the country, the Bank of Lithuania, the Ministry of Finance, the State Tax Inspectorate, educational organizations and economics teachers. The exam is under the patronage of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports. The information partner and technical implementer LRT will ensure the smooth conduct of the exam.
