The Bank of Lithuania approved the establishment of the second EIKA NT Fund

On March 18, 2019, the Supervisory Service of the Bank of Lithuania approved the founding documents of the closed-end investment company EIKA REAL ESTATE FUND for informed investors.

This will be the second fund managed by the EIKA group of companies to invest in commercial real estate. The fund is planned to purchase and develop offices, shopping centers and warehouses in the Baltic States. The group’s first fund, Eika Residential Fund, has been investing in the development of residential real estate projects in Vilnius since spring 2018.

Eika Real Estate Fund, which is established on the basis of an investment company, will be managed by Eika Asset Management (EAM). The Bank of Lithuania issued a collective investment undertaking management company operating permit to this company in July 2016. EAM is headed by Viktorija Orkinė, who has more than 15 years of experience in the fields of commercial real estate development and management.

The company’s activities include establishing funds that will provide an opportunity for informed investors to contribute to the sustainable development of cities in the Baltic States by creating and improving projects with long-term value, and investments entrusted to real estate market professionals will earn real estate developers a return. Together with external investors, the capital of the EIKA group of companies is also invested.
