The last apartment in the best housing project in the Baltics “Santariškių namai” has been sold!

These days, the last apartment from the 12-year-old EIKA-developed project “Santariškės namai” has been sold. Back in 2005, EIKA was one of the first in Lithuania to start building a low-rise housing estate. The latter was developed in several stages, with the houses given picturesque names related to nature: “Ąžuolas”, “Miglė”, “Mėta”, “Gilė”.

A survey conducted among residents who signed purchase contracts for “Santariškių namai” in 2016 revealed that 97% of respondents are satisfied with their choice. Residents living in the project’s houses are pleased with the neighborhood of Verkės Park. The largest part of the park’s territory consists of forests, so there is no city noise here, and the air is always clean. A 6 km long bicycle and pedestrian path winds near the settlement, and ski trails are nearby. Although the houses are built surrounded by nature, the environment is comfortable for residents. The “Santariškių namai” settlement has a grocery store, a beauty salon, and a dental clinic. Just a few minutes away is one of the largest hospitals in Vilnius. Larger shopping centers, schools, and kindergartens can be reached by car or bus in ten minutes.

Although there are no more vacant apartments left in the “Santariškių namai” project, EIKA is transferring the accumulated good experience to another low-rise construction project – “Bajorų alėjos”. This settlement also ensures that residents feel surrounded by nature. The project environment is formed based on the “Green Courtyard” philosophy: a streambed made of pebbles will wind through the inner courtyard, perennial plants will bloom, residents will be greeted by picnic areas and lounge chairs, and walking paths. The cozy low-rise construction settlement is designed in such a way that you want to live there and enjoy the peace.
