During the first months of 2017, more individual fully finished apartments were built than during the entire year of 2016.

During the first four months of 2017, EIKA fully furnished 52 apartments in its development projects, compared to 38 apartments in all of 2016. Such a sharp increase in demand for the service reveals the changing habits of new residents – new residents value their time, trust professionals and ensure quality.

In 2016, in the portfolio of apartments sold by EIKA, apartments with full finishing made up about 9 percent (38 out of 431 apartments sold), while during January-April of this year, such apartments made up about 36 percent of all apartments sold (52 out of 145 apartments sold). According to EIKA Development Director Martynas Žibūda, although there is still a strong tradition in our country to furnish an apartment yourself, the changes in customer behavior we see indicate new market trends. “We notice that customers are starting to understand that by ordering full finishing using our services, they get a more favorable housing financing scheme, quality of work and guarantees, and most importantly, they reduce moving-in worries to a minimum – all that remains is to purchase living room and bedroom furniture,” M. Žibūda lists the advantages.

It is calculated that a buyer who purchases a fully finished home needs half as much savings, because the home furnishing can be covered by a mortgage loan provided by the bank. According to an EIKA representative, when furnishing an apartment, the developer hires professional interior designers who communicate directly with each client, chooses reliable contractors who provide guarantees for the work, and has regular suppliers who offer discounts. “We coordinate the interior design with clients down to the smallest detail, taking into account the clients’ wishes, the interior specialist purposefully and functionally uses the space of the apartment, selects modern color combinations and materials, and in addition, we commit to furnishing the apartment within the agreed deadlines. Another important thing is that EIKA’s finishing offers are absolutely exclusive and individualized,” says M. Žibūda.

Depending on the customer’s choice and wishes, the average price per square meter of finishing is 300 EUR. This price includes all work and materials. The finishing period is about 2-3 months.
