To ensure that the company’s values and mission are not just empty words, managers should clearly present the values to employees. Experience shows that it is easier for a team to understand the basic principles of work when they first try to apply them through play and then in practice.
“When in 2001 we separated the construction activities from the company (meaning UAB “Eikos statyba” – VŽ), that’s when what “Eika” is crystallized. Until then, it was a building materials store, a wholesaler, a construction company, and a real estate development company – all in one. Now “Eika” is an investment and real estate development company. When I joined the company in 2008, this core of activities remained,” says Domas Dargis, the company’s general director.
