“Eika” continues the “Bajorų alėjos” project – three new low-rise houses will be built in the settlement at the same time

Real estate developer Eika is starting the construction of three new low-rise houses in the Bajorų alėjos project. One house has already been built, and the first residents have already moved in. By the end of this year, three more new houses will be built in the settlement – the four-story Vyšnia apartment building and two semi-detached cottage-type apartment buildings Liepa. In the new construction phase of Bajorų alėjos, buyers will be able to choose from 36 apartments with balconies, terraces or even their own backyards..

“The cottage-type apartment buildings “Liepa” are like an intermediate link between individual houses and ordinary apartments. They are unique in that they do not have a staircase, each resident of the house has their own individual entrance to the apartment,” says Martynas Žibūda, Development Director of “Eika”. “The apartments in the house “Liepa” are designed so that residents can choose a more spacious four-room apartment over two floors with a large 36 sq. m. terrace on the roof or a more compact 2-3-room apartment located on one floor with a spacious balcony. Those who settle on the first floor of the cottages will get their own yard with a storage box for outdoor furniture, garden tools or other items.

The privacy and peace of residents in the four-story apartment building “Vyšnia” under construction will be ensured by a single staircase in the house, and buyers will have only three neighbors on the landing. The house has 16 compact 1-3-room apartments with balconies, from which residents will be able to admire the green surroundings of the project. “One of the features of these apartments is the functionality of the designed spaces – due to the sufficient number of windows, in most apartment buildings “Vyšnia” there is an opportunity to separate the kitchen area, and in one-room apartments – to separate the bedroom area,” says M. Žibūda.

The low-rise housing estate “Bajorų alėjos” is being formed on a hilly 9-hectare territory, the development of the project will take place in three stages. It is planned that in 2016-2017. investments in the project will amount to more than 2.6 million EUR and 53 apartments will be built by the end of this year.

The project environment will be developed by Eika based on the philosophy of the Green Yard. Investments will not only be made in buildings – children’s playgrounds, sports and leisure areas will be installed here. “We have also chosen several unconventional solutions when planning the home environment – for example, after the completion of the first quarter of the project, a streambed formed of pebbles will meander through the settlement, lounge chairs and picnic areas will be installed, and walking paths will be formed. We will also create outdoor barbecue areas, where we hope neighbors will gather and get to know each other,” says M. Žibūda.
