Real estate developer UAB “Eika” has begun construction of a residential building in Block B on Žalgirio Street, thus announcing the final phase of the “135” project. Construction of Block B of the project began in November of this year, and residents are expected to move in as early as December 2017..
In building B, 52 apartments are designed, the average apartment area is 53 sq. m., and apartment prices range from 50,000 to 200,000. The “135” project on Žalgirio Street is intended for people who accept the fast-paced city life. “The project is attractive for both living and investment. Žalgirio Street, where the “135” project is being developed, is currently one of the most changing streets in the city, starting with new business centers, residential buildings, ending with a Japanese garden and public infrastructure,” says Martynas Žibūda, development director of “Eika”.
UAB “Eika” was the first in Lithuania to start applying the technology of precast reinforced concrete, and continues to use it intensively. According to M. Žibūda, the use of reinforced concrete in today’s construction is an important advantage, it helps to avoid negative environmental (weather) influences and human errors, since the walls are prepared in the factory and only assembled at the construction site. “We are sure that this excellently proven three-layer precast reinforced concrete technology will meet the expectations of the settlers in the “135” project as well,” the representative of “Eika” lists the uniqueness of the technologies.
“Eika”‘s investments in the construction of apartment buildings of the “135” project amount to 6.7 million euros, and investments in the new building B – about 2.8 million euros. The project features 1-5-room apartments with balconies or spacious terraces, and the three project buildings form a closed courtyard – a cozy space for communication and active and passive recreation. New residents will move into building D in February 2017, and into building C – in March 2017. Internal works are currently underway in the aforementioned buildings.
Eika also develops projects in Santariškės, Bajorai, Jeruzalė, Pilaitė, Naujamiestis and Senamiestis. For those looking for new housing, the company can offer more than 300 new construction apartments in Vilnius.
