“Positive signs in the housing market are increasing, and apartment building projects implemented by professional real estate developers with long-term experience in the market in Vilnius are among the most attractive. We are ready to provide financing and contribute to the implementation of promising real estate projects,” says Aivaras Čičelis, Deputy President and Director of the Business Banking Service of SEB Bank.

This year, Eika plans to invest more than LTL 45 million in real estate projects being implemented in Vilnius in Pilaitė and Santariškės.

The company intends to invest 18 million litas in the development of Santariškės this year.  Currently, a low-rise apartment building “Gilė” is being built in Santariškės, where new residents will move in this summer. It is planned to build 190 apartments in the entire “Gilė” quarter. The individual houses “Miglė” are also being built next to Verkės Park. Twelve such houses are planned to be built by the end of the year. In total, about 80 new apartments and cottages should be built in Santariškės settlement this year. By 2015, it is planned to build about 200 new apartments, a shopping and service center, and complete the construction of the entire Santariškės settlement. About 1,150 families will live there in 2015.

The company plans to invest more than 27 million litas in the construction of apartment buildings and a shopping center in Pilaitė. Currently, Eika is completing the construction of a nine-story 71-apartment building in Pilaitė, and is carrying out construction work on a new seven-story 42-apartment building and the second stage of a multi-storey car park. Also this year, it is planned to start the construction of a 5,000 square meter shopping center in Pilaitė, which should open its doors next year. By 2015, Eika plans to build a total of about 250 new apartments in Pilaitė.
