Eika increases investments in Pilaitė

 “Eika” is increasing this year’s planned investments in the development of the settlement in Pilaitė from 20 to 27 million litas. In May, the construction of a new 42-apartment apartment building began, and the second stage of construction of a multi-storey car park continues. In the summer, “Eika” will also begin construction of a new shopping center near Pilaitė Avenue.

This year, Eika completed the construction of a nine-story, 71-apartment building in Pilaitė, where more than 60% of the apartments have already been sold. By the end of the year, it is planned to complete the construction of a seven-story building that began in May and begin the construction of a new 9-story, 71-apartment building..  

 

Investments in Pilaitė, compared to 2012, are even 17 million higher. “The need to increase investments arose due to the growing demand for apartments. Sales were particularly active at the beginning of the year, so we are continuing the planned investments,” says Domas Dargis, development director of Eika.

 

This year, a 520-space parking lot near Pilaitė Avenue will be completed in Pilaitė. In 2014, a new 5,000 square meter shopping center “Norfa XXL” will open in Pilaitė, the construction of which is planned to begin in July.

 

“Eika”, which began development in Pilaitė in 2007, has already equipped 639 apartments and built the shopping center “Pupa”. Over 650 settlers have settled in the constructed houses. By 2015, it is planned to build 4 more apartment buildings, which will house about 200 new apartments.
