“Santariškių namai” – winner of the competition “For Sustainable Development”

Last week, the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association (LNTPA) announced the winners of the real estate project competition “For Sustainable Development”. The low-rise housing development “Santariškių namai” has been voted the best residential project in Lithuania. This project was recognized as the winner not only by the competition committee, but also by the majority of votes from visitors to the internet portal vz.lt.

 

This year, 20 projects competed for awards in the competition organized by LNTPA, 9 of which were in the residential construction category. The projects were evaluated based on criteria such as architectural, urban and construction quality, energy saving and innovation, respect for natural and cultural heritage values, and the image of the organization in society..  

 

Valdas Kaulinis, director of the project “Santariškių namai”, was pleased that the low-rise housing estate in the vicinity of Verkiai Park was appreciated not only by the commission, but also by the public. “We tried to make this project exceptional not only in its unique location surrounded by Verkiai Park, but also in its quality. This achievement is very important to us, we are glad that our efforts were appreciated,” says V.Kaulinis.

 

Seven low-rise houses have been built in “Santariškės namai” with 168 apartments. Most of the apartments already have owners. In the near future, it is planned to launch the second phase of “Santariškės namai”, in which cottages – apartments will be offered to customers. Families living in these apartments will have private courtyards, and the owners of the second floor will enter the apartment only through their own staircase and will be able to spend warm evenings on the huge terrace on the roof.
