“Eika” is starting the construction of a ten-story apartment building in Klaipėda. According to company representatives, the apartment building will be the most attractive middle-class project in Klaipėda due to its functional layout and convenient location.

 

According to representatives of UAB “Eika”, currently the biggest shortage of affordable housing in Klaipėda is in the form of apartments, therefore UAB “Eika” will offer a new housing segment to the Klaipėda real estate market. This is a new segment between economy and middle-class apartments at an affordable price, which will stand out for their quality and convenient layout.

 

The modern multi-storey building on the reviving Baltijos Avenue is planned to be built in the fall of 2008. Eika intends to invest 25 million litas in the new multi-apartment building.

 

According to project manager Agnė Janavičiūtė, the location of the apartment building in the city determined the concept of the project. “In a few years, Baltijos Avenue will turn from a former abandoned industrial district into an attractive place with developed infrastructure and excellent communication,” explains Eika’s project manager Agnė Janavičiūtė. The new building will feature compact 2- and 3-room apartments of 33-55 sq m. m. area. “The relatively small area allows us to offer a very high-quality product to the market at a relatively low cost,” says A. Janavičiūtė. A family will be able to purchase a three-room apartment for 300 thousand litas. The project manager of “Eika” points out that the small area of ​​the apartment has another important advantage – inexpensive housing maintenance.
