Vilnius Airport’s departure terminal is one of the most significant airport infrastructure development projects in recent years. The project was recognized as the best Lithuanian future project in the “For Sustainable Development 2023” competition.

The 14,400 sq. m terminal doubled the airport’s throughput—from 1,200 to 2,400 passengers per hour. The first floor houses check-in and baggage drop-off zones, public spaces, cafés, and airline offices. The second floor features a security screening area with modern scanning solutions that allow for optimized passenger screening and reduced queues. The completed project has significantly improved passenger service conditions and the airport’s operational efficiency.
